Golfers tee up for mixed foursomes

This past Saturday attracted a small field of twenty golfers for the I.P.S. Club Competition which was won by Kevin Donaldson.

This coming Sunday, October 23, the Northern Region Ladies Golf Sub-Union will be holding their annual 36 Hole Mixed Foursomes Medal Strokeplay competition at Dundee Country Club.
The competition is open to all official handicapped golfers and will begin at 8am with a shotgun start and the entry fee is R200 per player which will include a lunch. All interested golfers are requested to contact The Pro Shop to enter their names by Friday, October 21.
The golf course will be closed to all social golfers on Sunday until approximately 3pm.
This past Saturday attracted a small field of twenty golfers for the I.P.S. Club Competition which was won by Kevin Donaldson, finishing a good four strokes better than his handicap with 40 individual points. Second place went to Marc Bradbury on 38 points with Richard Catlett managing to win the count out on 36 points to finish in third place.
There were four players who managed to record a 2 Club on the day, and they were; Marc Bradbury on hole no.4, Kevin Donaldson on hole no.8 while both Lorien De Witt and Dolly Bradbury made their 2 club on the 16th hole.
Forthcoming fixtures; Friday October 21, 10 Hole Meat Competition and Club Competition 4BBBS will be on Saturday, October 22 and on Sunday, October 23, The 36 Hole Mixed Foursomes Medal Stokeplay.
