3km Walk Ladies: 1st Joyce Shabalala 26m47s.
4km Run Ladies: 1st Thobeka Mbatha 20m07s; 2nd Thobeka Phungula 24m08s; 3rd Thobile Nyathi 31m28s.
4km Run Mens: 1st Zwelihle Duma 19m41s.
8km Run Mens: 1st Siphiwe Ndlela 27m54s; 2nd Bongani Sabelo 28m12s; 3rd Thokozani Phungula 28m41s; 4th Joe Khumalo 30m07s; 5th Lindani Vilakazi 41m03s.
A warm welcome is extended to all newcomers. There was plenty of competition in all the categories. In the 2km ladies walk, Vasanthee is still showing others a clean pair of heels. Anneline did well in the 2km ladies walk/jog event. Anand is improving steadily in the mens 2km walk/jog event.
Joyce has a great walk in the ladies 3km walk event. Thobeka Mbatha dominated the 4km ladies fun event, still proving the best of the 4km female runners. Zwelihle ran a good time in the mens 4km run event. Siphiwe won the mens 8km run in an incredible time. The icy conditions kept a few at home but well done to all those who braved the inclement weather and pitched up. See you all on Wednesday!
