‘Big shoes to fill’ for new committee

VRYHEID Ski Boat Club recently elected a new committee at their AGM

Vryheid Ski Boat Club, situated at Cecil Emmett Park, recently welcomed new committee members.

VRYHEID Ski Boat Club recently elected a new committee at their AGM which was held at the club on October 12.

The new committee is as follows: Chairman: Dirk Booysen, Secretary: Marlize Coetzer, Vice Chairman: Riaan Odendaal, Treasurer: Wessel Pretorius, Weigh Master: Slabs, Safety: Andries Joubert, Deep Sea: Louis Breytenbacht, Jet Ski: Darra, Fresh Water: Kokos Coetzer and Maintenance: Jan Combrinck.

“Congratulations to the new committee,” writes the club’s Secretary, Marlize Coetzer. “There are big shoes that have to be filled. May you carry the club on your heart, just as close as the committee of 2016.”

The Vryheid Ski Boat Club’s Year End Function and Prizegiving will take place on November 25.
