ABAQULUSI Big Walk is a fun 5km walk not to be missed.
VAC, with the Department of Sports and Recreation, is hosting this event on October 31 at the Hoërskool Pionier sports field. Pre-entries start from 4pm and the starting time is 5:30pm. The route will be going through the golf club area. Loads of fun to be had with a tuck shop available and a chance to win a backpack. Proceeds will be going to two local welfare organisations. Bring family and friends and support this worthy cause while exercising.
Two important activities for this year are happening in November. On November 5, our year end prize giving evening will take place from 6:30pm for 7pm. The theme for the evening is The Great Gatsby. Please support this event when we honour our achievers. More details will be posted on the club communication sites.
On November 24 is the club AGM at the club house. Please get your nominations in as soon as possible, the club need a good active committee. Nomination forms will be available at the club and from committee members.
Tonight there is normal time trial. Anybody wishing to have a braai please let Johan Coetzee know before 5pm. Saturday is the club run at 5am from Stegen’s Service Station.
