Police have opened an inquest into the death of a man whose body was found inside a house that burned down.
Yesterday (October 16), police were called to a house that had caught alight in the Thembalihle area of Steadville.
The body of the deceased, who was about 25 years of age, was found inside the house.
The deceased has not yet been officially identified.
The cause of the fire is also unclear at this stage.
