Update: Police officer out on bail after fatal stabbing of husband
The policewoman was arrested and appeared in court, where she was granted bail
The female police officer who allegedly stabbed her husband to death at their home in Mkhamba Gardens last Sunday morning (October 2) is out on bail.
It is believed that the couple were having a heated argument which culminated in the stabbing. The husband died as a result of the wounds he sustained.
The deceased has not yet been officially identified.
The policewoman, a sergeant at Besters SAPS, was arrested and charged for murder.
She has since appeared in court, where she was granted bail of R1000. The police officer got out on Friday.
