Juan de Heer of Future Finance, said as cancer did not discriminate, it was imperative to support the event

“Having cancer and fighting the battle does not only involve the individual who is diagnosed, but also their family and friends. Therefore, we would like to challenge other financial institutes and their staff from town to also participate and show their support for the CANSA Relay For Life,” said Shalene Singh of Future Finance.

Pam Singh, also of Finance Future, said the best and most effect weapon against cancer is knowledge of risk reduction, prevention and early detection.

“In support of all cancer patients, it is important to remember that cancer can take away your physical abilities, but it cannot touch your mind, your heart and it cannot touch your soul,” added Selby Phosa of Future Finance.

Businesses, organisations, service centres and schools who would like to enter a team, can contact Siphelelisiwe Mabaso on 034 315 1751 or Phindile Bhekwe on 074 345 7935.
