Ladysmith forensic detectives are appealing to the public to assist them in locating similar pieces of equipment as depicted in the above photo.
The items are called a ‘light source’, which is used by crime scene experts to detect certain unseen evidence at crime scenes. It cannot be used for any other purpose.
The items were stolen recently after a vehicle was broken into in the Limit Hill area.
Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of the equipment is urged to contact Ladysmith SAPS on 036-638-3308/09/10.
