Taking to the road for Ladysmith Cycle Challenge

The event started at the corner of Barrack Road, Hospital Park, and the riders headed off to De Beers Pass

Siegetown Wheelers Cycling Club hosted the Ladysmith Cycle Challenge today (September 11). Those taking part either registered online or signed up at the beginning of the race.

The event started at the corner of Barrack Road in the Hospital Park area, with the riders heading off to De Beers Pass. There were various distances the participants could tackle, namely 18km, 40km, 80km and 100km.

Young and old cyclists took to the road and gave it their all, with medals for participation being awarded to all those who finished the race.
