Teachers’ union hosts fun-walk

The aim of the walk was to raise funds for charity

A fun-walk for a good cause was hosted today (September 10) by teachers’ union Naptosa (National Professional Teachers’ Organisation of South Africa).

Setting off from Windsor Secondary School and then proceeding along Kandahar Avenue and Delhi Road, the walkers all had great fun while getting a bit of exercise at the same time.

The participants could choose between a 5km and a 7km route, depending on how fit and energetic they felt.

The aim of the walk was to raise funds for charity.

Young and old participated in the event, which saw lots of chatting and laughing along the way.

Trophies and medals were awarded to all who took part as a reward for their efforts and support.
