The learners were thrilled to see giraffes grazing, zebras strolling along the trail, as well as warthogs

The grade R learners of ML Sultan Estcourt Primary School, accompanied by their teachers and HOD Mrs S Ramdeen, went on a field trip to the Weenen Game Reserve on August 2.

The children were excited to be going on their first excursion. They experienced a delightful bus ride through the reserve, identifying and discussing all the animals that they saw.

The learners were thrilled to see giraffes grazing, zebras strolling along the trail, as well as warthogs, impala and ostriches roaming freely. The learners and educators enjoyed a picnic lunch before heading back to school.

It was a fun filled educational trip and the grade R educators would like to thank the management for all their assistance in making this day possible.
