Update: Suspects remain in custody for brutal murder
Both suspects' next appearance will be in the Regional Court
The two men charged for the brutal murder of Mrs Zarina Moolla made an appearance in B-court today (Monday). The suspects, aged 26 and 27, appeared before the magistrate and their case was remanded to September 30 for further investigation.

After the murder, an intelligence-driven operation led by the Crime Intelligence Gathering Unit (CIG), K9 Unit and detectives resulted in a quick breakthrough in the case.
Two men who live in Gumtree Road were arrested days after the murder.
Zarina Moola was found dead by her domestic worker in her home in Gumtree Road, Smartiesville, during the Holy Month of Ramadaan. The elderly woman was found in her bed with multiple stab wounds. It appears she was asleep when her attacker/s brutally murdered her.
