Cow left to die after collision

A cow was found dead in Sir George Street, Colenso, early this morning (September 5).

It is believed that the cow was hit by a vehicle during the course of last night.

Fire & Emergency Services found the carcass at the side of the road.

“How can someone be so heartless as to hit a poor animal with their car and just leave it to die?” said an upset resident.
