Pedestrian hit by bakkie in Lyell Street

A pedestrian was knocked down in Lyell Street this afternoon (August 30).

It is unclear exactly how the incident occurred, but what is known is that a white bakkie hit the pedestrian across from KFC.

The injured person was treated by EMS before being transported to hospital.

Public Safety was also on scene.
