DJS’s uShaka experience
An experience to remember for the Dundee Juniors.
Dundee Junior pupils report on their trip to UShaka in Durban.
DJS se avontuurklub het Vrydagaand in die akwarium oorgeplaap by uShaka. Na ‘n interessante toer deur die akwarium, heerlike ete en ‘n fliek, het ons slaapplek gemaak tussen die tenks. The next morning we had breakfast with the penguins. After breakfast we snorkelled with the sharks and fish inside one of the tanks. Wet ‘n wild was a festive atmosphere and we tried all the slides. Tornado was the popular one. It was indeed an Adventure.
Cross Country
Lusanda Dube and Lindokuhle Shongwe participated in a Cross Country meeting on August 5 at the Endumeni CMC. They will participate again on August 20 at the Umzinyathi District selections that will be held in Nquthu.
Cricket DJS vs NSPS
The u/11 and first cricket team played against NSPS on Thursday, August 11. The results are as follows: First team: NSPS made 41 runs all out over 15 overs. DJS team made 42 runs with only one wicket down in 7 overs and they won the match by 9 wickets.
U/11
In the end, NSPS finished with 90 runs, all out in 20 overs, and DJS won the match by 9 wickets on 93 with only one player out in 11 overs.
