DA urge Dannhauser residents to vote for change

He went on to explain how Cape Town, where the DA govern, had R0 irregular expenditure and spent 67% of their budget on the poor, which was not the case in municipalities run by the ruling party

South Africans have a choice on August 3. They can either stick with the leadership they currently have or they can make a change for the better.
That was the strongly worded message of the DA’s Amajuba Constituency head, Dr Imran Keeka MPL when he addressed Dannhauser last week.
The meeting was supposed to be addressed by KZN DA Leader, Zwakele Mncwango but due to unforeseen circumstances, he could not attend. Dr Keeka said that currently South African’s major concerns were with unemployment, corruption and lack of service delivery and that the only way to put an end to it was to vote for change.
He went on to explain how Cape Town, where the DA govern, had R0 irregular expenditure and spent 67% of their budget on the poor, which was not the case in municipalities run by the ruling party.
“The money budgeted for the people are in the pockets of someone else. What we need is a pro active and responsive government,” he said. “The once liberators are the ones who oppress us today,” he added.
He urged residents not to be fooled by the myths and lies which say that people won’t get their grants anymore if they vote DA. “You will still get all your services if you vote for us.”
Dr Keeka ended his address by expressing his confidence in Dannhauser’s Ward 2 candidate, Lalitha Bhugwandin, adding that the DA elected their councilors based on performances and that those who were not performing would be replaced.
