The Ladysmith Family Violence, Child Protection & Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit is making an appeal to the community to assist them in locating the man in the above photo.
He could assist police in solving a case that took place in the Hlathi 2 area of Ekuvukeni during February this year.
A 20-year-old scholar was walking home from school when she was accosted and raped.
Her attacker is described as being in his early 40s, light in complexion, 1.15m tall and of medium build. He has a scar on the right side of his face and head.
Anyone who has seen this man or knows of his whereabouts is requested to make contact with the investigating officer, Sergeant Masondo, on 082-469-9429 or use the Crime Stop number on 08600-10111.
