Sarel Cilliers Rugby boys took part in the annual Craven and Academy Week at Kearsney College during the June/July holidays.
These boys achieved a high level of excellence when they got selected for the u/18 KZN Country and District team. During the course of the week they played three matches against teams from different provinces. Scores for the games are as follow: KZN vs Griquas win 63-30, against the Pumas they win 34-27 and they beat Free State 44-10. Die kwaliteit van rugby wat gespeel word is van ‘n baie hoë standaard en Sarel Cilliers se seuns was bewus dat hulle rugby van gehalte kon speel. Kevin Johnson, kaptein van die skool eerste span en Hoofseun, is ook ‘n kontrak aangebied deur die Vrystaatse Rugby Unie. Sarel Cilliers wishes to give hearty congratulations to these boys.
