Poster overload against the law?

The municipality confirms that only one poster per party on a pole is allowed

As with every election, posters proclaiming the goodwill of candidates and political parties are everywhere, from street pole to street pole. Some parties have resorted to plastering posters on any visible surface.

We asked the municipality what the legality was surrounding how many posters of any particular party could be displayed on one lamp post?

The answer was simple: One per pole.

Now we know the photo we show here displays the DA, but they are not the only ones with more than one poster.
