The Ladysmith Family Violence, Child Protection & Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit spent 67 minutes at Enjabulweni Primary School this morning (Monday) as part of Mandela Day celebrations.

The school has 800 learners and is located in the Roosboom area of Ladysmith.

The pupils were educated on topics such as children’s rights, reporting of cases, education, drug abuse and the benefits of sport, all issues that were close to the late Mr Mandela’s heart.

The children were treated to confectionery items and cool drinks sponsored by local business Boxer Stores.

Items were also rendered by the learners.
