It’s all about Mandela today

Here's what Newcastillians are doing for 67 minutes today.

We asked Newcastillians what they are planning today for their 67 minutes, to give back to the community in lieu of the incredible work the Father of our nation did for South Africa. This is what they have planned:

Vumelani Khumalo and Siye Themba: “We are going to paint a school in Osisweni today. We hope that this will be sufficient in giving back to the community, like Nelson Mandela did for us as a nation.”

Tania van der Merwe: “We will visit a charity today to give clothes and blanket.”
Mpume Mhlaba: “When a customer purchases to a certain value, we will be giving gifts to our clients to help celebrate the day.”

Belinda Laas: “We will be giving food parcels to a charity our office supports to commemorate what Nelson Mandela did for our country.”
Nontokoza Dlamini: “Mandela had a huge affinity for children, so we will be visiting an orphanage today to give clothes and toiletries.”
