Courier staff spoil furry friends for Mandela Day

Spreading the love at the SPCA

The Courier took to the streets and cleaned up abortion posters one year for Mandela Day.
The following year we went out to Siphuthando Care Centre in Sibongile to feed the children. This year we decided to do something different and spoil the SPCA animals needing homes.
Food, blankets and toys were donated by staff and generous community members and these items were taken to the SPCA on Friday, July 16. Courier staff then did a tour of the kennels, cuddling with the kitties and feeding treats to the doggies.
SPCA staff were not forgotten and were also spoilt with a cake for all their hard work they do in giving animals a better life.
A huge thanks goes out to the following people for donating towards our cause: Samiksha and Suyash Ramballie, Reshina and Ishaan Maharaj, Mpati Pharmacy, Gerald and Marion Willis Smith, Peter and Edith Kuyler, Shubnam and Rahil Pillay and Inayet Gopie.
