A major pipe burst was reported at the corner of Platrand and Kandahar Avenue this morning (Sunday).
IFP councillor Abbas Warasally reported the matter.
Residents in the area are advised to store water before municipal engineers arrive to repair the leak.
Water has been flowing down the street since early this morning.
uThukela was contacted and said they would deal with the matter immediately.
