Deputy president in Ladysmith

Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa was in Tsakane, Steadville, today on the campaign trail in the build-up to the upcoming Local Government Elections

A crowd of anticipant ANC supporters sang songs of the anti-apartheid struggle as they awaited the arrival of Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa in Ladysmith today (Saturday).

Deputy President Ramaphosa was in Taskane, Steadville, today on the campaign trail in the build-up to the upcoming Local Government Elections that are scheduled to take place on August 3.

The rally began in Estcourt and then proceeded to Mbabazane.

In his speech, Mr Ramaphosa named numerous issues that the people of South Africa face. Some issues he mentioned were drugs, teenage pregnancy, HIV/Aids and South Africa’s economy.

He assured those present that all these issues have been acknowledged and will be dealt with.
