President of the Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa Swami Sumanasananda conducted the first in a series of discourses on The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna on Saturday, June 11 at the Maha Gayatri Temple.

The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna is an English translation of the conversations of Sri Ramakrishna with his disciples and devotees. The Gospel was recorded by Mahendranath Gupta.

The Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa Estcourt Satsang Group also conducts Hinduism for Children Classes. The children who attended these classes and exams were presented with certificates by Swami Sumanasananda.

At the Hinduism for Children Classes emphasis is placed on selected prayers, peace chants and Gita verses.
