She passed away late last week.

Auntie K.G. was considered a motivational speaker and was instrumental in igniting children’s passion for language and culture, while also advocating family values.

The Tamil community said she would be sorely missed.

“She was a familiar face at the temple, and it will not be the same without her,” one resident commented.

The Pillay family has extended its heartfelt gratitude to all friends and family for the condolences, floral tributes, unfailing support and encouragement during their time of bereavement.

“A special thanks to members of Nofta, the Paradise Temple and Sunder’s Funeral Home.”

The 15th day memorial service for Auntie K.G. will be held at the Paradise Hindu Temple on June 18 at 11am.

Lunch will be served, and all are welcome.
