Bitterly-cold weather shows that winter is here!

The Drakensberg and Harrismith are covered in snow

With bitterly-cold weather and drizzle starting off the week, we all grabbed our blankets and heaters!

It’s no wonder though, as Ladysmith is surrounded by snow: the Drakensberg and Harrismith are covered in snow.

So it looks like we all need to prepare for a cold winter ahead. Make sure your kitchen cupboards are stocked with tea, coffee and hot chocolate to warm your insides.

A freezing-cold winter is on our doorstep!

The temperature has risen today (Tuesday), but the wind is still cold.

The next really cold day is set to be Friday, with rain predicted as well.
