The Dundee streets do it again…. surprise…

There is always something new and shocking on Gladstone Street

For two days in a row, Gladstone Street has produced something weird.  Yesterday it was unused condom packets that were dumped. A week before that, a huge truck drove on the pavement, crushing the paving.

Today, a large heap of smouldering ash was found in the gutter outside the Methodist Church. Shopkeepers in the area quickly doused the smelly, smokey  mess.

It appears as if the fire was started by either homeless people or prostitutes who ply their trade on the cold winter nights.

Or it could be the work of those living in an outhouse adjacent to the one-way, nameless street linking Gladstone and King Edward Streets.  Whatever the reason, it is something Gladstone Street shopkeepers are having to cope with.
