Decomposing cows’ heads found in Carlton Road
Animal skin was strewn about as well, and the area reeked
It was a disgusting sight as a Ladysmith Gazette journalist, residents and Public Safety officers found what are suspected to be cows’ skulls lying all over the place in open veld in Carlton Road.
Not only that, but animal skin was strewn about as well.
The whole area “stinks to high heaven”, with a terrible odour hanging in the air.
Residents have been complaining that the grass is overgrown and the veld is in a terrible state. Earlier today, municipal workers went to clean up and were met with an awful smell.
Going to investigate, they stumbled upon the “cow graveyard”.
Public Safety and the Health Department were then notified.
