Ladysmith police would like to make an appeal to members of the community to help find a missing person, 31-year-old Nompumelelo Yuvone Igwe.

Before going missing, Nompumelelo informed her family that she was going to Gauteng to work at a private hospital somewhere in Johannesburg.

She was last seen on May 29 at about 11am in the Mkhamba Gardens area.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a two-piece brown skirt and coat. She weighs around 80kg and wears long plaited hair. She can also be identified by the heart-shaped tattoo with an arrow across it on her shoulder.

Her family are concerned about her welfare since they have not heard from her since she left home.

Anyone who can assist police with information concerning her whereabouts is requested to contact Constable Langa at Ladysmith SAPS on 036-638-3353. The 08600-10111 Crime Stop number can also be contacted.
