It is believed that the brakes failed, causing the bus to overturn
Mass casualties were reported after a bus transporting schoolchildren crashed in the Sahlumbe area this morning (Monday).
It is believed that the brakes failed, causing the bus to overturn.
Sharaj Ambulance Services and EMRS responded and stabilised 10 occupants who were injured.
Sharaj transported the injured to hospital – seven were taken to La Verna Hospital. Slight and moderate injuries were sustained.
RTI and SAPS were also on scene.
