Get ready for the Ladysmith Show

Be sure not to miss the Pretoria K9 dog show or the demonstration from Sharaj Ambulance Services, making this show not just fun and games but adding a learning experience as well

The Ladysmith Show (including the funfair) is around the corner and is jam-packed with entertainment for local residents.

The Show will be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 19, 20 and 21, at the Indoor Sports Complex in Dry Road.

On Thursday, the entrance fee will be half price.

On Friday, the stage will come alive with top star Joe Foster and teen heartthrob Brendan Peyper. For the guys, sexy Liila will be performing her latest hits.

On Saturday, the Bhangra Bash will have you dancing the night away. Hussein Valley will join in with his own mixture of top Bollywood favourites and classics.

If none of these artists are your cup of tea, you can still come and enjoy the rides at the funfair.

These rides are often not for the faint of heart. Be certain not to eat too much of the delicious food from the food stalls before going on these tummy-twisting rides.

Also, be sure not to miss the Pretoria K9 dog show or the demonstration from Sharaj Ambulance Services, making this show not just fun and games but adding a learning experience as well.

The Miss Show Queen pageant will be held on Thursday evening. The age groups for entrants are 8-12 and 13-18. If you wish to enter, please come and collect an entry form from the Ladysmith Gazette offices at San Marco Centre. Just ask at reception.

Please take note that the entrance fee is R20 for the Miss Show Queen competition.

The winners will, however, only be announced on the Saturday.
