Egerton takes on Dundee at Agar Field

Parents stood on the sidelines and cheered on their little bundles of joy, as if it was a World Cup game

The sports field filled up with anxious and excited children and parents as Egerton had their third winter sports day against Dundee yesterday (Tuesday).

The event was held at Agar Field, starting at 1.30pm, after school.

The students were all fired up and ready for their matches.

They kept a positive outlook and played harder as the day got hotter and hotter. The heat did not stop them from enjoying their games and playing their little hearts out.

Parents stood on the sidelines and cheered on their little bundles of joy, as if it was a World Cup game. This motivated the little ones to try even harder.

They all had a great day, regardless of the scores, and were more than willing to help each other up when they fell down.

The players were rewarded with an ‘icy’ after each of the games.
