Starting afresh at a state-of-the-art facility, the Audi Newcastle team has made a move in the right direction.
On February 26, clients, dignitaries, and staff gathered outside the newly constructed building on 108 Allen Street.
With bated breath, guests scuffled into the spacious showroom, designed to mimic a German racing track.
While waiting for the first speaker to take to the stage, those with an eye for the finer things in life made their way to the Audi Lifestyle Centre.
Here, only the finest, fully imported branded items are stocked for purchase.
Shortly after 7.30pm, guests were officially welcomed, and treated to an insightful presentation about the Audi brand.
“You all have chosen to be a part of our association because of our mutual passion for this beautiful brand,” said Ebrahim Docrat.
Mr Docrat added that the team valued and cherished friendships made along the way to making memories as a household name.
Before long, it was time to unmask the ninth generation Audi A4. New Vehicle Sales Manager, Suleman Limbada, graced the stage to explain why the latest model was ‘something special’.
“The Audi A4 is by far the most important model within the Audi range,” he explained. “It sets the benchmark in the compact executive car class.”
At first glance, Mr Limbada said its A4 pedigree was instantly recognisable.
Understated lines, dashboard architecture, leather-wrapped seats and an advanced infotainment system are only some of the features that make the A4 cutting-edge.
“The introduction of the sport and design lines allows for additional customisation according to customer taste,” he said. “It’s designed to be timeless.”
Without a moment to spare, it was time for the big reveal. As the black covers came off, guests crowded around the vastly sophisticated A4.
During the course of the evening, the Docrat family, alongside Mayor, Afzul Rehman unveiled the branch’s plaque.
As the evening drew to a close, motoring fanatics stood in line to sign up for an exclusive first drive.
The Audi Newcastle team thanked all those who contributed to the overall success of the opening.
