One person was killed in a collision between a motorbike and a VW Polo near Clover (road leading towards the N11) this afternoon.
It is unclear exactly how the accident happened. The motor vehicle’s right-hand side took the impact, and the motorbike is completely written off.
The biker was declared dead at the scene, and the driver of the Polo sustained moderate injuries.
EMRS paramedics treated the driver of the Polo and transported him to hospital for further medical attention.
Police and Public Safety were also on scene.
