Newcastle police are investigating a theft-related incident that reportedly occurred on January 23 at about 11.30am.
The victim was allegedly attacked by two perpetrators on the Memel road, who demanded cash and belongings.
One of the suspects, a 16-year old boy, was later arrested and taken into custody.
Police investigations continue.
