1. Fires – these can be reported to the call centre on 036 352 6464/4444. The team in turn notifies the fire department that dispatches a team. The call centre number may also be used for reporting electricity faults, snakes as well as road accidents.

2. Animals – reports of abused, neglected, lost and stray animals may be made to the Estcourt Animal Shelter by calling Nelson Mabaso on 082 658 7200.

3. Hospital – Estcourt Provincial Hospital may be reached on 036 342 7000.

4. Water – Call Uthukela District Municipality’s call centre on 0860 104 257 to report water pipe bursts and sewer leaks.

5. Ambulance – these emergency services can be reached by dialling 10177.
