A prominent businessman’s son took his own life this evening (Thursday) by hanging himself.
A large crowd filled Castle Road in shock and confusion upon receiving the news.
It is still unknown why the young man took his life, leaving family and friends devastated.
Sharaj Ambulance Services responded to the scene, but the man was already deceased.
This is not the first suicide this week. A well-known employee of ATS Rishi committed suicide by setting himself alight in the Estcourt area, and a young woman is in a critical state in ICU after attempting suicide by strangulation.
