Last Sunday was an educational experience for the congregation of St Mark’s Anglican Church in Wakkerstroom.
Freemasons from Newcastle English Lodge, Newcastle Coronation Scottish Lodge, as well as the Biggarsberg Lodge from Dundee and Fidelity Lodge from Volksrust attended a service at St Mark’s Anglican Church in Wakkerstroom.
This was a unique opportunity for the Freemasons to attend a church service together, showing their commitment to religion. With the Freemasons dressed in full masonic regalia, the congregation was offered the opportunity to socialise with the men in order to understand the organisation better.
