Drawing a fine future at Glencoe Primary

The drawings of three of the learners were selected as winners.

Liberty undertook a national drawing competition for Grades 3 and 4. The competition was aimed at helping parents prepare financially for their child’s education.

Mr and Mrs Sandesh Raghu are involved with the Pietermaritzburg agency and had decided to approach Glencoe Primary school to enter. The theme was “Protect yourself and your family by planning today for life’s worst episodes. Tomorrow might be too late! You can determine what lies ahead for you and your family.”

The drawings of three of our learners were selected as winners: Leylah Nyembe, Alwande Gabuza and Melokuhle Sithole. Each of them received a cash prize. We are very proud of them and wish them all the best with their artistic futures.

It was also with great enthusiasm that the junior phase teachers and learners participated in a junior fun sports day. They had lots of different events from sack racing to musical chairs. Great fun was had by all. Already a lot of talent came to the fore and had the rugby coaches sitting up straight.
