Fun-loving Moths hold annual parade

The Moths showed their respect and acknowledgment towards the fallen in the Battle of El Alamein

The annual El Alamein Parade, Dinner & Dance, held by the Siegetown Moths, took place on Saturday night at the Shellhole.

The parade was a serious affair, as always, and then the fun-loving Moths enjoyed a delicious three-course meal that was provided for them.

Rugby fans got to watch the Springboks take on the mighty All Blacks on the big screen. So close and yet so far for the men in green and gold!

The Battle of El Alamein marked the culmination of the North African campaign between the British Empire and the German-Italian army in World War II, with massive casualties being sustained.

The Moths showed their respect and acknowledgment towards the fallen. The dinner & dance saw friendly people mingling with one another over drinks and creating special moments together. It certainly was a night of great socialising and dining for all the Moths who attended.
