Showville is in town and the finalists are in action tonight in the Moth Hall

The SABC 2 show, Showville, is in Dundee scouting exciting young talent. Since Monday hopeful acts have strutting their stuff in the Moth Hall in their bid to win the R10 000 first  prize. Terry Westby-Nunn has also bee interviewing various local talent – like crafter, Michelle Hamman, Mike Kenchenten of the Endumeni Isandlwana Moth …

The SABC 2 show, Showville, is in Dundee scouting exciting young talent. Since Monday hopeful acts have strutting their stuff in the Moth Hall in their bid to win the R10 000 first  prize.

Terry Westby-Nunn has also bee interviewing various local talent – like crafter, Michelle Hamman, Mike Kenchenten of the Endumeni Isandlwana Moth Shellhole museum, Motz Bezuidenhout of the Royal Country Inn and even the Courier staff – among others.

Hosting the series are two award-winning performers: TV star, comedian and record-breaking winner of South Africa’s “Strictly Come Dancing” Series, Rob van Vuuren; along with dancer, choreographer, and star in local dance movie “Hear Me Move”, Bontle Modiselle.

One of the finalists is opera singer, Vusimusi Mbonambi, of Glencoe who will be in action at the Moth Hall from 5.30pm this evening.  Get along and support our talent!

Showville visited 26 small towns in South Africa.  Dundee is number 26 – the show will be screened sometime in May next year.

The series starts at 8pm on SABC 2 on November 7.
