VRYHEID SAPS made a great breakthrough when they caught two escaped criminals who escaped from the Vryheid Magistrates Court on September 29.
Nkululeko Mazibuko and Slindokuhle Khumalo both from Bhekuzulu were set to appear in court that day and were later announced missing.
The two were set to appear for business robbery and theft out of motor vehicle charges.
“These two are part of a gang that specialises in stealing from cars and in businesses. They come to your workplace pretending to ask for assistance whilst looking for items they can get their hands on,” said Jetro Khumalo who led the arrest.
Both Mazibuko and Khumalo were caught and re-arrested in October.
Community members are reminded to keep valuable items out of sight when parking their cars.
