October 29th is National Cat Day and serves as a day for the public to recognise the number of cats that need to be rescued from the street and adopted from shelters each year.
The day is set to celebrate cats for all the wonderful love they give, and to encourage adoption.
Celebrate National Cat Day with the Newcastle Advertiser this week by submitting your favourite photo of your cat. Include your full name and surname to sam@caxton.co.za  or WhatsApp the photo to us on 079 398 3050.

Submit your favuorite photo of your pet cat to qualify for the final voting stage.
The top photographs will be entered into a ‘Reader’s Choice  Poll’.
The photo with the most votes will receive a Gift ‘Hampurr’ for the most popular kitty, courtesy of  Petremendous Vets Shop at the Newcastle Mall.
