2 injured in accident at intersection
Public Safety and other emergency personnel were on scene
2 people were injured in a collision between a bakkie and a BMW at the intersection of King and Lyell Street this afternoon.
EMRS paramedics treated the injured.
Police, Public Safety and towing services also responded.
Public Safety officers helped to control traffic while clean-up operations were being carried out.
It took officials about half an hour to clear the scene.
