Learners tour police station

Constable Radebe touched on the Liquor Act, the importance of reporting sexual offences and the 10111 toll-free number

Learners and educators from Mhlumayo Primary School and Kwamthandi Primary School visited Ladysmith police station early last week. The learners were energetic and eager to absorb all the information being given to them.

Constable Radebe was on hand to educate the youth on various issues concerning the SAPS. She touched on the Liquor Act, the importance of reporting sexual offences and the 10111 toll-free number.

The children were also given a tour of the Community Service Centre (CSC), Radio Room, Detention Centre and Designated Firearms Office.
