AACL raffle ticket winners announced

Thanks to everyone for their support

The Dog-a-Thon raffle draw was held recently at the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) premises, with two awesome prizes up for grabs.

The first prize was a meat hamper and the second prize a Coca-Cola hamper.

Lucky winners of the first prize were Barry Zietsmann and De Wet Britz. They are sure to be doing a lot of braai’ing in the coming months!

Winner of the Coke hamper was Ettienne de Pindray. Lovely refreshment in this heat!

The AACL would like to thank everyone for their support.

12 dogs and 31 cats are up for adoption at the moment. If you are interested in adopting a pet, then please contact the league, who are always willing to help you.

The kennels are always in need of dog and cat food (wet or dry), and blankets. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.

A special thank you to Pierre Massyn, Buy ‘n Save, and Mr and Mrs Fisher for their contribution of dog food.

Please make sure your pets are looked after properly in this extremely hot weather we are having at the moment. Make sure they have enough shade and clean water.

The heat we are facing is very dangerous if your pets do not have sufficient water to drink.

If you are interested in making a contribution towards the league or you have a query, pay a visit to the kennels (on the N11 before the Limit Hill robots) or contact Annamarie on 076-151-1784.
