Sixteen injured in two vehicle crash on N11

SIXTEEN patients have been treated for injuries sustained in a crash involving a minibus and a car, which occurred on the N11 near Ladysmith.

Paramedics from KZN Emergency Medical Services and a local private ambulance operator responded to the crash, which reportedly involved a car and a minibus. The incident occurred near the RTI offices.

Two patients sustained  serious injuries, while 14 patients had minor injuries.

The paramedics stabilized the patients at the scene before transporting them to local heath institutions for continued medical care.

The cause of the crash is not known at this stage and will be investigated by the police.
