Total road closure after N3 crash

Officials say it will take a while to clear the scene

3 vehicles collided on the N3 this morning about 4km into the Free State from Van Reenen, towards Harrismith.

2 heavy motor vehicles and 1 light motor vehicle were involved in the crash.

Injuries have been reported and emergency personnel are still on scene.

Officials say it will take a while to clear the wreckage and there is total road closure (northbound and southbound).

We will update this story when the road is opened again.
