Update: Parts of town without water
The affected streets will not have water for at least the whole day until all the pipes are fixed
uThukela District Municipality started fixing pipes in the Rose Park area this morning.
Yesterday, uThukela informed the community that there would be water interruptions in some parts of Rose Park today.
This is due to fixing pipes in the area.
The affected streets will not have water for at least the whole day until all the pipes are fixed.
An uThukela worker told the Ladysmith Gazette that the reason for the repairs is that the infrastructure is too old, which is causing burst pipes to pop up all the time in this area.
